Acquisition completed – Protec Fire and Security Group is now part of Bosch
Bosch Building Technologies has acquired one of the leading British system integrators for security and fire detection technology.

Grasbrunn, Germany – Welcome to the Bosch Group! From November 30, 2021, Protec Fire and Security Group Ltd. will be part of Bosch Building Technologies. Protec is one of the largest system integrators for fire detection and security technology in the UK, with around 1,100 employees.
Thomas Quante, president of Bosch Building Technologies, is excited about this addition to the Bosch organization: "We are very pleased to officially welcome Protec and its highly qualified employees as part of Bosch Building Technologies. We will learn from each other and share our respective expertise and many years of experience in order to jointly bring new innovative solutions to the market for our customers."
Protec operates mainly in the UK and is headquartered in Nelson, Lancashire, UK. Here, the company also maintains its own development and manufacturing centre.
Hacousto Protec is the Dutch division of Protec Fire and Security Group Ltd. It is working out of Berkel en Rodenrijs and has already been visited by Marcus Nadenau, Senior Vice President, Energy and Building Solutions Europe, and Arno Janssen, Head of Energy and Building Solutions the Netherlands.
